One of the activity options for word work is play-dough. Students make their words from their word lists and form the letters with the dough.
In our class each student has a different word list. This is one way that I differentiate instruction for all students. Students work on two SNAP words (sight words) a week and three words that follow vowel patterns that we are working on in class. Each student works from their own word list while doing independent word work activities.
