Writer's Workshop is a very important part of our day! We consistently dedicate 45 minutes- 1 hour each day for working on writing. This past week the students were assigned writing partners. A few times a week after writing time, everyone will have a quick share/meeting with their writing partners to show the writing off that they have been working on. It's a great way for the kids to re-read their stories, hear compliments from their classmates, and simply just talk about all the stories they have written about! We are still working on small moments and are increasing our stories to 3+ pages and writing more words on our papers. I am very proud of this class and all their hard work every day during writing!

I have also been wanting to share some photos of our last publishing party. Having a party at the end of each unit is important because it helps the students feel proud of their efforts and hard work. We usually gather in a circle and sit in the "Author's Chair" to read our stories. Then, afterward, WE DANCE!!
