Writer's Workshop is underway in our classroom. We have been working on "Launching the Writing Workshop" for a few weeks now and we are just about ready to move into our "Small Moments" unit of study. The students have been working hard in each workshop session. We have learned the format of writing workshop which is:
A short mini-lesson.
Writing time.
Share time with the whole group or with partners.

Look for some writing homework in addition to the regular reading log this week in your child's BEE book. This work will be very helpful for your child as we move forward in the writing workshop this year. Thank you for your support at home, as always!
